Hi there, thank you for your question. The built-in oven can be installed below the gas cooktop as long as there is no contact between the bottom of the cooktop and the top of the oven.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You can mount a Bosch 800 cooktop over an 800 oven if you meet the following criteria. First, the cooktop’s bottom hangs down 3 13/16” below the top of the counter. In one of the secondary installation instructions Bosch says they want 3/8” between the bottom of the cooktop and top of the oven. So, the top of the main oven needs to be 4 3/16” below the top of the counter. Secondly, you need a 3/8” black pipe elbow screwed onto the cooktop’s bottom gas connection. Connect a 3/8” nipple to this elbow so as to move the gas pressure regulator off to the side (adjacent cabinet space).
