HI there. Thank you for your question. If you are referring to the 800 Series Gas Slide-in Range, it is normal for the fan to run in certain circumstances. The convection fan will run while the oven is preheating for the bake mode. Slide-in models also have a cooling fan that runs during every cooking mode. It is normal to see or feel steam or warm air escaping from the oven vent. Do not block the vent. When the oven has cooled to a pre-determined temperature, the cooling fan turns off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My range makes a normal "fan"noise when the broiler is on. This "fan" feature cools the range down quickly so the surrounding are stays cool. I haven't yet used the convection oven.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - I have two of the Bosch 800 Slide Grange's (one in each kitchen of a two-family home) and you can hear the fan when it is running but it is not that I would consider a noise. If the one you have is making a faint fan running noise, then it is probably ok. If any other noises outside of a small fan running, I would call the appliance service hotline to have it serviced. I hope this helps.
