I cannot find any mention of wattage on the box, the speakers or the papers that came with them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its label says "Input: 12V, 0.833A". So the input power is 12*0.833 = 10W. Its output power can only be less than 10W.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I disassembled them and measured the output of the built in amplifier into 8 ohms, at the onset of clipping I measured 6.6 watts into an eight ohm non reactive load. This works out to 7.2 volts with a tad over 900 MA measured.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Lots of bad info here. I have these speakers. Bose rates them at 4.5 watts per channel but fails to note ohms. They sound great for the intended purpose- computer speakers. They have been reliable. A bass reflex speaker such as this type is pretty efficient.... but given the low wattage don’t expect much..... sound is ok for a small room or close quarters like in front of a PC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Took me a bit to find. These speakers a 22w maximum.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had two different sets of Bose companion 2 series ii speakers damage its voice coil and started to crackle and get buzzing sound. This was caused by turning up thr volume too high and the wattage of each channel is only 5w. Sure Bose sounds good and 5w doesnt represent the quality of the sound , but customers should know how many watts it is so they can be careful not to damage it. I was unable to fix both sets and sold them to junk yard. My recommendation is minimum of 15w per channel if you want to get computer speakers that wont damage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Looks like Max is 22Watts
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for the question. Some specifications such as speaker wattage are not published for our products. The reason these specifications are not published is that we do not feel they give an accurate representation of how the product will sound in a real application. That being said, the maximum power consumption for this product is 4.5 W.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe they are 42 watts but I do not recommend focusing on the watts. Bose has such full sound that it would honestly be equivalent to 4 times the watts of what the manufacturer states the speakers have.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Watts are irrelevant when it comes to any BOSE product. They are way under rated and even turned to the max, I have never blown any BOSE speakers. My opinnion is that these would be equivalent to 200 watts per speaker while never losing and clarity in the sound.
