A:AnswerHello, AnonymousProfessional.
Thank you for your question. The Companion 20 Multimedia Speaker System is designed for the personal enjoyment of music and would be best suited to small groups of up about 20 people. We would recommend looking into other options for your interests. The Bose SoundTouch 30 Series III would deliver incredible sound for your room, and you can connect it to your computer with a standard 3.5 mm auxiliary cable. This speaker can be seen here: https://bit.ly/2KHQPAr.
We hope this helps. Enjoy your event! Jesse - Bose Support
A:AnswerThank you for your question, Jane! The Companion 20 Multimedia Speaker System will connect to your MacBook Pro via the 3.5 mm headphone jack. The unique control pod makes it easy to adjust or mute the volume and connect headphones or other audio devices. Have a terrific day! Ashley - Bose Support

A:AnswerYes. I actually connected them to my HP tower. HP has color coded RCA plugins on the rear of the tower for sound equipment. There is also a USB port if you need it.
A:AnswerOn the back of the right speaker has Computer Input which is the 3.5 plug and the only plugs on the controller is the same 3.5 plug. With that said if your TV takes RCA Jacks there used to be a connector that did a 3.5 to 2 RCA Jacks (Red & White). Not sure if you can still get them though. Hope that helps.
A:AnswerCall Bose Customer Service. They are great. Mine don't make noise like that. Take them back to where you bought them and get another pair. I just got these too, but I bought them for my daughter 15 years ago and she is still using them.
