Q: QuestionWouldnt it be best to let earphone buds battery life die before placing in charging case. for example at 60% seems wrong to place in charger?? amazing sound!!Love them, just want to extend battery life the way bose recommends..

• A:Answer I use the charger case as storage when not wearing the ear buds. I typically recharge the buds when they drop to 20% or less. I have not had any issues with degraded battery life. I do usually get 3-4 full recharges for the earbuds before I have to charge the battery pack. Love this product.

Q: QuestionAm I correct in assuming that you must purchase the charging case in order to recharge these headphones, meaning that this will cost $200 instead of $150?

• A:Answer No. I have the earbuds but not the case and you can charge the earbuds at any compatible power-producing USB port. In my case, this means at my stereo receiver, at my computer or at a USB power outlet adapter - including automotive adapters. I've used the first 3 and have no doubt that I can also charge them in the car if needed. Because of this wide choice and because I never leave home without my computer, I would not anticipate ever needing a charging case. It would be just one more thing to keep charged.

• A:Answer If it's like my Mophie Juice Pack for iPhone 6+, both the case and the earbuds will be charged when connected to power at the same time. Depending on the meaning of "priority" (sequential vs concurrent), the earbuds will be charged either first (sequentially) or faster (concurrently) than the case. The point is that when you come back after enough time, both will be fully charged. This eliminates the need to intervene manually and charge each one separately. Giving priority to the earbuds is consistent with the end goal, which is fully charged earbuds.
