Do NOT buy these for that. Even if the noise canceling feature was enough without other sounds, the 10 minute motion shut off makes these useless for most things. I bought them for the exact reason you are asking about. First night I kept waking up to hubby snoring to find out that they turned off by themselves. The following morning I researched why that was happening to find out about this feature that you can not override. VERY disappointing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, Active Noise Cancelling headphones don’t completely cancel out any sound...especially mid to high frequency sounds. They just reduce them. Plus, they aren’t built to be worn while you sleep. Bose did just release some noise masking sleep buds that might be perfect for you, though. I’ll link it down below.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don’t need those for noise blocking. Go to Walmart and get ear protection muffs, like what the construction or lawn care workers wear.. They’re like $10.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your husband needs to go to the doctor, maybe he has something where he can get a sleeping mask or something.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.buy ear protection for weapon shooting or use the spare bedroom
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I doubt it will filter it out well enough. Push him on his side until he sees a doctor. There are ways to fix snoring,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Look up Bose sleep buds those should work perfectly for you! Hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Bose do not work of you have a really loud snorer. I spent the money on them and yes, they are nice, but I still can hear my husband snoring even when I turn them up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Get Bose Sleepbuds to drown out the snoring. You won’t believe the improvement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We checked the 1st x4 700s in Anchorage BestBuys VS the QC35s & if you want them for just sleeping & blocking snoring then the QC35s are king. Unless all the 700s were malfunctioning demos, everyone (the 4 of us, and all the people willing to give us their opinions) said the QC35 had better passive dampening (quilter with the ANC
) & felt it was much better with it on! We have yet to have technical reviews, but it appears from what we heard as tested that the “Upgraded” ANC that Bose says is minor (from the QC35s) is more dedicated to higher frequencies.. In other words the 700s probably block out more random noises of voices? Also I would recommend (As I’ve used the QC15s for what you are talking about) of downloading an album of just rain sounds. That VERY light sound you can put VERY low, gives the ANC headphone more to work with when cancelling snoring! Its amazing what even a little sound that might be no louder than the hum of a low fan through the headphones can do! Hope this helps. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
