• A:Answer I did not use these in a restaurant and I did NOT use with hearing aids. The sound was pretty clear. You could purchase and try for whatever period is allowed before returning. I did get hearing aids from Costco, behind the ear, digital so I can adjust, using the app for focus on speech rather than the background sounds. That really helps. I just need to remember to adjust the app.

• A:Answer I see no mention of a Kindle app for hearphones. However, it shouldn't be necessary to have a smartphone with the hearphone app. There is a small control area on the right earphone wire. You can do most (if not all) of the things the app allows you to do. It's not very intuitive but she will probably become comfortable with it after using it. She should be able to play music or audio from the Kindle using Bluetooth. Perhaps you could get her set up by putting the app on your smartphone? The hearphones themselves are great! They really help in a loud environment.

• A:Answer If sound quality is what you want avoid the Hearphones they are more of a hearing aid with noise canceling tech. For example, you get in a car with these in your ear and everyone closes the doors your ears will feel it. I have to lower the window to avoid the discomfort or take them off. People with hearing aids will understand what I am saying. I use them at least 10 hours and hit 20% battery level. If ran with Bluetooth active you phone battery will suffer. I need to recharge iphone xs by 3:00pm and I put them on around 6:00 am.
