Q: QuestionCan these be worn with motorcycle helmet?I was wondering/hoping that these can be worn while wearing a motorcycle helmet. I have varying degrees of "success" wearing in-the-ear style headphones (earphones?), including the non-noise-cancelling version of Bose earbud headphones. I like the idea of noise cancelling feature as that may help with reducing overall noise while riding motorcycle. Thanks.

Generally, most headsets can be used while driving so long as the device only occupies one of the driver’s ears. Q: QuestionI want this without the huge battery pack dangling from it. Used to have a pair, loved them, now this model is clunky. Any advice?

• A:Answer Honestly I think you must be thinking of a different product, no? The battery pack is what powers the noise cancellation as far as I can remember. I could be wrong, but I've been using these for years and have never seen a model without the pack...that said, I've heard their new noise canceling wireless earbuds supposedly do just as well, so maybe that's an option? (I don't own the new ones, I can't keep track of wireless earbuds lol)

Q: QuestionI recently bought good old Bose QC20 wired ANC earbuds, excellent on my laptop but the 3.5 audio jack is incompatible with my Pixel smartphone's Series C. Moreover the headphone jack adapter I bought does not make it work either. Should I return the Bose?

• A:Answer The earbuds need to be charged and have a battery life of 16 hours. If ANC isn't enabled the battery won't be drained.

Q: QuestionHello. Can the Bose QuiteComfort 20 earbuds be used while being recharged? Lastly, where can I purchase a much longer (appx. 3 foot long charging usb cable) charging cable to replace the factory supplied short charging usb cable.

Q: QuestionI want a pair of earbuds to use as wired ONLY. I do not want bluetooth. I'm looking at these and I don't really understand what's going on. Can I detach that battery and use them as wired earbuds? Or if they're wired will I have to have the battery?

• A:Answer Hello! The noise cancelling on our QC20 headphones is designed to drown out repetitive low-mid level noises, but louder and higher pitched audio (e.g a Fire Alarm) will still be heard. Many of our users have agreed that this has a significant positive impact on aircraft in the way you have described! There is also an aware mode function for this headset. Pressing the Mode button on the side of the remote to switch to Aware mode allows you to hear some sounds around you, such as traffic noise or conversations. We would recommend trialling these out yourself at a store to ensure that you are happy with this before committing to your purchase!

Q: QuestionIs it normal for the cable to be bent near the battery right out of the box? I noticed that the way it is wrapped in the package may cause this. Is it something to worry about? In my case the cable even has sort of an indentation where it is bent.

Q: QuestionWith the QuietComfort 20 Android earbuds, I understand the answers about charge cycles but will I be harming the battery or shortening the life/charges if I leave them connected to a USB charger through each day while using them at my desk?

• A:Answer I am the owner of an Electronics company. All batteries form a memory. IF you don't discharge them and constantly charge them it will eventually shorten the life of that battery. I just used my Quiet Comfort for a 9 hour flight with no issues with battery life. I store mine when not in use then fully charge them if i'm taking them on a trip or using them around the house.

Q: QuestionMale pin-out: Tip L audio, 1st ring R audio 2nd is ground, sleeve microphone and button signals. Is the sleeve just a ground? I will only have L R Audio and ground. feeding the male plug-in pin. Will noise cancelling still work? dont care about mic.
