Yes I had the same thing with the Bose 700 Headphones ... after a few hours of use I had bad itches, raised bumps and water leaking out around my ears and on the lobes where the rash was. This happened three times after using these headphones (and the effects last for a few day’s each time) and I assume it’s something in the cup material. I’ve now switched to a different brand and all is fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah, same problem. Bose 700 NC. I've had them for 1.5 weeks; love the sound. But itchy, bumpy, flaky rash developed on earlobes as well as on head under earlobes after a few days of extended use. I'm guessing either irritant contact dermatitis or allergic contact dermatitis, probably the latter (earlobes were also slightly swollen and warm to the touch). Looking for a workaround (replacement earpads?) as, again, I love the sound. I guess I'll contact Bose or something.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I developed a nasty rash from the earpad material on Anker Soundcore Life Over-the-Ear headphones. Bought some cloth earpad covers that fit, and that eliminated the problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.my ears are oozing so much and warm and flaky after using my skullcandy crusher 360s :( i wore them with plastic ziploc bags on top since i knew it would happen from my experience a year ago. it still gave me a rash :( what covers are the best?? thank u guys
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also just had this happen. Bought a new headset. Wore them twice, Scaly skin on my earlobes, Itching, Redness and slightly swollen. Pretty sure its the material in the padding or the dye they used to color it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I almost know for certain it was the headset that caused my rash. I didn’t realize it until it was a full blown ginormous rash all around my neck. Thankfully the rash has gone away but it took several months. It was awful. It also caused the skin around my ear to split and bleed and I too thought it was the dry weather causing the problem but it wasn’t. I hate it though too because I loved them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like you may be allergic to the material or the dye used to make the headphones. You won't know if you can return them, until you try.
