- Answer The difference between the 2 QC'S is the QC 35 II has the Google command features as far as I know which the QC 35 don't have. But besides that they are equal.

QuestionWould the noise cancelling feature work even if you are not playing any music? I have a coworker who coughs all day long, and I'm wondering if these would drown her out when music is not playing, or playing very quietly. Plain earplugs do not work.

- Answer Yes the active noise cancelling can be turned on without music playing. It won't cancel out all noise around you, though, it'll just dampen surrounding sound. Noise cancelling plus music will completely drown out your coworker.

- Answer The airline adaptors are two prong plug in audio adaptors and are pretty much obsolete. Airlines now use a single plug like most electronics. I have had an airline adaptor for other headphones for about ten years and have never used it. Doesn’t have it, doesn’t need it.

QuestionAs with all the Bluetooth Headphones, these can be connected with an Audio Cable to be used, when the battery runs out. I also did come across a few places, which say that the Microphone does not work, when I connect a wire to these. Is this the case here

- Answer Hello Nikhil, thank you for asking about the QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones II. These headphones are engineered with Bluetooth and noise-cancellation, and do come with a backup audio cable. Connecting the audio cable does disable Bluetooth, and since the mic works via Bluetooth, it will essentially disable the mic as well. We hope this helps!

QuestionI wanted to buy $300.00 Bose 35 II headphones, UNTIL! I found out that the battery is not serviceable and is only good for about 500 charges and discharges. THEN YOU READY!! you can send in for a new headphone set for $279.00. Why would anyone do that?

- Answer I have had these headphones for over 2 weeks, I've used them quite a bit and I'm at 60% so prob won't charge for another 2 weeks. Even if I charged them twice a month, that's 24 times a year, it'll last me over 20 years before the battery is shot... Same math if I charged weekly, that's almost 10 years. There'll be newer, better headphones within two/three years from now. For me, as great as these sound, its good value.

QuestionHow much sound leakage should I expect from these? I own a pair of Bose Soundlink II headphones, and the leakage is atrocious; people within 5-10 feet can hear my music clearly even at moderate volume levels. Would the QC35 leak any less?

- Answer The sound leakage is very bad. I’m not sure how Bose is getting away with it. I’ve stopped wearing mine because I felt like an idiot walking around with everyone hearing what I was listening too.

QuestionSo in your opinion how does these compare to the Sony noise canceling headphones? There’s been a lot of reviews that these have some tough competition with the Sony. Price, quality, and comfort. How does these headphones surpass the competitors ?

- Answer The SONY WH-1000XM3 are the tricked out millennial G-To headphones... with ambient sound control, audio equalization, sound positioning, atmospheric pressure optimization, LONG battery life, etc. The SONY headphones felt heavy, pinched at the head and ears (especially when wearing eyeglasses) and long periods of wearing. Alternatively, the Bose QC35II are comfortable - during short or long periods of wear, with/without eyeglasses - provide excellent noise cancellation and connect to two devices simultaneously. Downside for Bose is the frequency response of the QC35II is NOT as good as SONY. At the end of the day it came down to comfort for me. SONY's bells and whistles are very compelling, but if you're dating a beautiful woman who gives you a headache after every date, is it really worth it?

- Answer I highly doubt you can listen to these at max volume. It will scramble your brains. I listen to them turned up pretty loud and I have never had anyone mention they can hear them. I wear them at night when I go to bed and my wife can't hear them.
