• The microphone will pick up your voice and other noise.

• Bose uses background ambient audio cancellation on their built-in mic, so you're most likely safe from the other party hearing what's going on around you. When i tested it my party did not hear rustling papers, nor me clicking the keyboard, but did hear the dog bark, so keep this in mind if it's a high-pitched sound in the mic near field, but normal background sounds should be exempted.
