They are noticeably smaller, for starters. This is the first pair of in-ear Bose headphones that don’t stick OUT. The quality of the sound is quite nice—depth, hi-lo range, and yes, good, crisp bass too. Lastly, and for me, most critical—they fit snugly in both ears and don’t feel like they’re ‘just about’ to fall out. It’s definitely worth experimenting with the supplied wings and silicon gel buds. The matching Bose app (iOS and Android) will help you figure out which ones fit just right. I own earbuds from Jabra, Sony, Apple, and these are my new favorites.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.QC 2s are smaller, have a smaller case, have better ANC. The QC 2 fit for me was worse and I found that they were less comfortable than the original QC Earbuds. The QC2 buds DO NOT wirelessly charge (the original QCs do). Are they worth the extra $50? That's subjective. I returned mine, but only after some debate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Without getting too technical. Increase in sound profile and bass with newer technology. From a hardware perspective, the wing tip and tip insert are now two pieces which offer more customization for fitment. Also the units are smaller. I did not own the first version but have owned competitor’s products that this directly competes with. If you’re able to, the $50 difference is well worth it and sets you up for years to come. I’m very pleased with them and I’m extremely picky about my audio products.
