I feel like they’d probably cover your eyes. In all seriousness, if the tv has Bluetooth capability, I don’t see why you couldn’t connect them to the tv to receive audio through them. A question would be the quality of the Bluetooth tech in the tv and whether there would be any audio latency causing a mismatch between the image and the headphone audio.

You can pair them to the Soundbar through Bose SimpleSync to get TV audio. Or if the TV can support Bluetooth audio, you can pair them directly through Bluetoooth.
