I, too, have tinnitus occasionally. Yes, the earbuds can mask it. They won't help make the tinnitus go away, but at least you can escape the ringing noise for a bit.

I have found that some of the masking sounds make it easier to ignore than others, but since the ringing is internal it makes it difficult to mask. At least for me.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have tinnitus too. I use to sleep with my phone under my pillow and set a sound app to play white or brown noise. Either of these noises will mask the ringing. I have gotten to the point now where I can put my phone on my stand and have a rain sound playing on volume one. There is hope.
