QuestionI have the Bose Soundbar 900 with the 700 Bass unit. I have it attached to a Sony Bravia A80J. Occasionally when I turn on the TV the sound will not come on and I will have to turn off the power to the soundbar (unplug it) and then cycle the TV power.

- Answer Had the same issue on my Sony Bravia 950H TV. Installed a Roku stick and coincidentally my Bose 900 sound bar with Bose 700 bass module have not had any trouble with sound turning off. Also make sure your HDMI cable from soundbar is plugged up into your e-arc TV port.

- Answer No it is not compatible with this. It will work with a bass module 500 and 700, and acoustimass 300.

- Answer It will hook up to two Bose 700 subwoofers, I have them connected, and will for sure hook up to 2 Bose 700 surround speakers I have them as well, and all of them will be synced thru the Bose app. two Bose 700 surrounds are the max as well. make sure to use the room calibration feature when you remove or add speakers, or when you move your setup.

QuestionI watch mostly TV through a streaming service, along with a few Netflix and bluray/dvd movies. The biggest problem with current setup is muddled dialog. With a $900 budget is Bose 900 with no sub, or Bose 600 with 500 base unit a better choice?

- Answer Soundbar hooks to directly to the tv with a HDMI cable and the sound from the tv will come from that. And if you have more than one HDMI ports you can run the other stuff like your CD player. And when you switch to that HDMI port, The soundbar will play from that port.

QuestionI just recently purchased a Bose 900 but it keeps disconnecting from my cell phone Bluetooth and every time I try to play music from my cell phone,I'm not able to connect it shows like it's connected but there's no sound I did it twice trying connect.

- Answer It helps having it connected to Wi-Fi at least to update the firmware on the soundbar and to go through the adaptiq process which makes the soundbar perfect for your room. Once you have those two things done, you don’t HAVE to have it connected to Wi-Fi but if you want to control it from your phone or use other features such as dialogue mode then you’ll need it connected to Wi-Fi to use that feature along with many others.

- Answer Please doubly check your TV settings to ensure that it is set to output sound to the HDMI ARC connection. Make sure that you are using the included HDMI cable in the box, or similar HDMI 2.1 cable to connect the TV to the Soundbar.
