QuestionI am 76 y/o and have an old Bose Soundbar with Subwoofer. The dynamic range of Blueray DVD's causes major problems when I turn up the volume to hear soft sounds and then the scene changes to very loud volumes. Will the Soundbar 700 solve my problem?

- Answer I'm also 76 years old and as of yet have not noticed the problem you described with my new 700 soundbar and I turn up the volume quite a bit, hope this helps

- Answer No you cannot mount the soundbar directly to the tv. If you buy the soundbar holder you could mount it underneath of the tv, if you have the space.

- Answer The Soundbar 700 is not compatible with SoundTouch speakers. You can, however, enjoy audio on both categories of speakers simultaneously using AirPlay 2.

QuestionI'm looking for I guess a sound bar that will improve my TV quality of sound and does this just plug into the back of my tv. I understand my 55 inc tv has a muffled sound on some programs does this clear this up.

- Answer Everything Bose connects to Bose and the Bose connect app. You can even pair other branded Bluetooth speakers and headphones but I don’t think connecting to a receiver is going to work. Consider this a ReceiverLess situation.

- Answer The soundbar has a connection on the back which you can connect. Or if your turntable has Bluetooth you can connect via Bluetooth with the soundbar.
