I have the same problem. I resolved it by plugging the USB into a different 'brick' square thing that is more powerful. I had provisously been plugging into a USB port that is built into the wall outlet plate. I guess that other guy was right it beeps when charging with very low power.

I have an older one, which does not give me the same problem. I'm clueless (and getting a bit daffy, when I have to listen to the incessant beeping). I'll never buy another one of these. Indeed, I have several Bose products and have for several years been a Bose customer. At one time a "premium" producer/ provider, in my opinion the quality of products and services of Bose have continuously deteriorated, and, also in my opinion, Bose is coasting on its reputation. Because of this and another recent quality/ service issues, I'm now a former Bose customer.

I changed the charger from fast charger to slow charger then the beeping sound disappeared maybe you have to try it to some of your chargers hopefully the beeping annoying sound will disappear

Please try again later.I recommend turning the speaker off while charging it also using a 1.0 Amp to 3.0 Amp USB charging brick instead them the USB port in your computer because the USB ports in your computer have less power them a brick that why its takes longer to charge and in that process its could make a annoying beeping sound while is trying to properly charge hopefully this may help with your situation
