I think it is just spoilt. I would take it back to BestBuy for a full refund or store credit if I were you. Mine was spoilt in the way that the playback started playing by itself if I leave the power on! Hence, quality isn't really too great.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like a bad unit. Call Bose--their customer support is usually excellent. You must still be under warranty too so a replacement unit shouldn't be a problem. Mine , so far, had worked flawlessly. (And for a little speaker it sounds GREAT)
