The answer is yes if you can find the battery. Bose will want you to send it in for out of warranty repair. Get an estimate on the phone first as they will be expensive. See if you can find a place called Batteries Plus in the Houston are they carry any battery you will need. Be prepared that it may be almost as cheap to replace the speaker.

Please try again later.I had the smaller version of the bose blue tooth and when it no longer held on to it's charge after a year, roughly, I took it in and they gave me a replacement because I had the Geek Squad warranty. I upgraded to this one currently pictured and in question and feel confident if you got the warranty on it, you are good. Just use it till it no longer plays if that is possible and recognize any changes in it's performance.
