No. These connect through bluetooth and while bluetooth is supported for controllers for both the xbox 1 s & x and ps4, it cannot be used for sound. Bose uses an installed app on phones. For a wireless headset experience, compatible headsets have a transmitter included that connects to the s/pdif on the back of the console. The headset connects wirelessly to that transmitter. Otherwise you need to physically connect your headset using the 3.5 mm port.

With a wireless pair like the SoundSport Free's, there could be a delay between the audio and video that detracts from your experience. A pair of wired headphones would reduce the audio/video delay.
