Which 2 year warranty are you asking about, the BestBuy warranty or the Bose warranty. If you are talking about the BestBuy warranty, it covers everything. For 2 years ask long as you bring even the majority of the broken headphones back they will exchange them or give you a store credit. I wouldn't buy these or any other item without buying the 2 year warranty. It has saved me and my family probably thousands of dollars as headphones don't last for a year much less 2 if used a lot. If you are referring to the Bose warranty then I would suggest going to Bose's website and reading about their warranty details. My advise is to fork over the 20-30 bucks and get the BestBuy 2 year warranty.

So, say you buy headphones and the 2yr warranty. You break them 3 weeks later. Best Buy will ask you if you want to purchase another warranty to cover the product again for another 2yrs. If you decline then you are without a warranty now. Is the warranty good? Yes. Just take care of your products. Otherwise, you’ll end up paying more to cover it
