- Answer I have a hard-wired (speakers), multi-room home system and this works well. It hooks directly to your old fashioned receiver.

- Answer Its range is pretty far in my house. From one room to another and across the house. It is Bluetooth and wireless.

QuestionI am hoping to use a Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link to connect to my stereo receiver (to play CD and vinyl) to broadcast to my other Bose SoundTouch speakers. Can I do that? Can you provide some instructions to set it up?

- Answer Hi, Mike. Thank you for your interest in the SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter! You can absolutely enjoy the setup that you're describing by connecting the adapter to your receiver. The adapter can connect using your choice of a digital optical cable, RCA cable or 3.5 mm AUX cable, all of which are included with the adapter. Our free SoundTouch app will recognize the adapter as a SoundTouch device and allow you to share your music with the other SoundTouch speakers around your home. QuestionI have a Marantz MCR 611 mini hifi system with preamp analogue output. Can I connect this output to the analogue input of the Soundtouch Link Adapter and then play my CDs through a Bose wireless speaker in another room?

This adapter will be able to re-broadcast the audio from your CD's over your home Wi-Fi network to another Bose SoundTouch speaker. The SoundTouch Wireless link adapter will give you the ability to stream music from your home WiFi or Bluetooth devices into a stereo or home theater system. From what we can understand you are trying to stream music from your NAS drive into the SoundLink Mini Speaker. While this is possible, we still like to be clear on what you were looking to do! QuestionWill the Soundtouch 300 Soundbar stream to a Soundtouch Wireless Link? In other words will whatever's playing on the 300 Soundbar also play on the Wireless Link?

- Answer Hello MLK, thanks for the great question! The Bose SoundTouch Wireless Link adapter will play the same streaming source (internet radio, Spotify, iTunes library, etc...) on the device it is connected to. It allows our customers that have an existing stereo or powered speaker to add SoundTouch capabilities for whole house audio. You'll be able to control your SoundTouch 300 and the adapter right from our SoundTouch app. Have a great day!

QuestionHave a Sony 130 Receiver with 4 speakers wired in the living room. Got a pair of Presonus Ceres C3.5BT 2-Way Powered Speakers with Bluetooth for the kitchen. Bose told me that I would be able to play them simultaneously. True?

- Answer Yes! You can play the same stream, or completely different streams at the same time. The ui is getting better with every update, and at this point it is very user friendly.
