Hi there tattoo, The SoundTrue Ultra In-Ear Headphones (iOS) were specifically designed to have a greater level of compatibility with Apple devices so if you use them on an Android phone what most likely would happen would be you would be able to use them to listen to music but you wouldn't be able to control the volume and playback with the inline controls on the wire or use the microphone. I would recommend using the Samsung model which would be more compatible with Android devices. I hope that this helped answer your question! Please enjoy your day and take care, - Shiloh
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These ear buds have the standard 3 lead plug for smart phone ear buds. The set I bought, however, are specific to iPhone (Apple products), so the functionality probably doesn't work on anything but Apple devices. I don't know if the mic would still work on Android devices. Of course, they are still stereo ear buds so, for listening to music they work perfectly on my old Galaxy Note 10.2 tablet and my Insignia Flex Android tablet. On both device, the center stop/start button works fine, however, the + and - buttons do nothing. I recommend Android users buy one of the Bose earbud options specific for Android, however, I have no idea how those models compare to these Bose SoundTrue earbuds.
