- Answer To adjust the system bass response, follow these steps: Press and hold Alarm Setup (Menu) until "-SETUP MENU-" appears on the system display Press Tune/MP3 > 3 times until "BASS-" displays Press Time – or Time + to select "NORMAL" or "REDUCED" Press Alarm Setup (Menu) to exit the menu or wait 10 seconds for the setup menu to automatically exit Note: Selecting "NORMAL" selects the default / normal system bass response. Selecting "REDUCED" applies a bass cut to all source audio played through the system.

- Answer Thank you for taking the time to ask a question about our Wave SoundTouch IV. We can't recommend that this be mounted under a cabinet in this circumstance. To enjoy maximum audio performance from your product, we would normally recommend the following: • Place the system across the room from your listening area. • Place the system within two feet of a wall and avoid placing it directly in a corner. • Place the system on a stable and level surface. • Do NOT place your system on top of audio/video equipment (receivers, TVs, etc.), any other object that may generate heat or a metal surface. Heat generated by these items may result in poor system performance or interference with AM reception. • Do NOT use the system in a damp location or any other place where moisture can get inside. • Do NOT place any objects on top of your system. We hope this information helps you find a position that you're happy with!

QuestionBluetooth Question.Can this be paired with Bluetooth Speakers? If so, how to link it up? I'm currently running this with the Soundtouch App on my iMac and Soundtouch App on Android phone. ( SoundTouch doesn't show up on my list of Bluetooth devices). I think those apps are connected to it through my network, not bluetooth? I was wanting to buy a Bose sound link Color. But want to make sure it links up first.

- Answer We're glad you asked. The electronic devices are being connected to the Wave SoundTouch via WiFi. As both the WaveSoundTouch and the SoundLink Color are Bluetooth receivers you will not be able to connect as you'd like. Choosing the SoundTouch 10 which offers WiFi and Bluetooth connection will allow you to play the same content in both areas.

Questionwhere can I get my Bose radio-cd player repaired here in North Carolina? The cd player refusentomnaccept disc it started by trying to accept more thsn one dic at once and ruined diisc. Now radio refuses to staart. Please tell me you can fix it. Jil

- Answer I don't think there is a repair center in North Carolina. The only one is in Indiana, I believe. Go to: https://www.bose.com/en_us/support/self_service/service_and_repair_request.html and follow the instructions. I had a similar CD issue with my 20 year old Wave system: takes the CD but it skips and chatters. I'm waiting for the repaired system to come back. The repair fee ($124) is reasonable.

- Answer We have ours in a 20X14 room and it fills the room without trying. It is important to position it properly in any room so that there is a hard surface behind it.

- Answer Hi! Thank you for your question. The SoundTouch pedestal is designed as a pedestal to hold the main unit - but also functions as the wireless adapter that the main system uses to connect to the SoundTouch service. If you wish to have your system connect to the SoundTouch service via WiFi, I recommend opting for the system that includes the SoundTouch pedestal.
