In my experience, you will need an amplifier with at least 80-120w of RMS (Continuous) power per channel at an 8Ω impedance rating to get the most out of these speakers. Your speakers need to have adequate power to realize their advertised potential. Just remember if you add two of these 8Ω speakers to one channel the resistance will change to 4Ω. So if you find a two-channel amp make sure it's 4Ω stable if you plan on using 2 speakers per channel.
