A:Answer You may want to contact Customer Service at Bowflex. I had to call them on mine because the monitor would not automatically turn off. I was told that this was a product programming error and that they were trying to correct it. The lady I spoke with said it was okay to just leave in on all of the time if I didn't want to unplug it every ride. I expressed concern about leaving it on 24/7, but she told me if anything went wrong, it was under warranty, but still, I am afraid that it will shorten the life of it. I have had mine several months, and it still isn't turning off as it should. Otherwise, I do like the bike.
