How do I extend the base to fit cup holders in my car ? null

Hi there, thanks for your question! On the bottom of the mount, there is a ridged circular piece that can be rotated. When you rotate this, the base extends and becomes wider. The canister width is adjustable, by spinning The canister pcs.

You turn the cup at the top, below the bracket that holds the phone. You may find it easier with the cup in the cupholder. It took me a minute to figure it out.
