It’s painful but it can be used in the bikini area. I do not experience ingrown with this tool. If using on bikini area be sure to exfoliate and use tea tree oil to prevent ingrown and irritation

Please try again later.Although I don’t get too close to the bikini area with an epilator - because of the pain - that is exactly why I have been using one for nearly 12 years now. It shouldn’t leave bumps or ingrown hairs. That’s the number 1 reason I prefer an epilator. When I use a razor (because it’s quick), I always end up regretting it! An epilator should pull all the hairs & grow back in more slowly & softer without the stubble a razor creates because it pulls the hairs out rather than cuts them off.
