What are the best beans to use? null

Any type of beans used in the Breville® BES870 Barista Express™ can be ground and used to extract espresso.

I originally bought Starbucks Espresso beans because that is all I could find locally. I am not a Starbucks fan anyway and thought the coffee was horrible. I ended up ordering a 5 pound bag of David Lynch Signature Espresso Beans from Allegro Coffee on line and the flavor is very good.

We use Starbucks Espresso Roast.
