No it is not just for speciality drinks. We use it for every day coffee. If I want a “regular” cup of coffee you can use the americano setting
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Breville® BES880 Barista Touch™ can brew espresso, heat and froth milk and provide hot water. Extracting the espresso and adding hot water can make an Americano but it will not make 'brewed' coffee.
