No. A toaster oven - key word is toaster is a very different animal from a microwave oven. It is essentially a very small version of an oven found in a range or an installed wall oven.

If you are unsure about what it can/can’t do, just ask yourself if you would make popcorn in a large kitchen oven.....or heat up your coffee in a large kitchen oven. You wouldn’t. This toaster oven although smaller....performs like a large kitchen oven.....a microwave is a microwave. You need both.
