I am not familiar with SLMPDF, but here is my experience. I scanned a 3 page document with blank backs in 2 sided mode. The scanner scanned them and the PDF document appeared on my Mac in 6 seconds with the blank pages removed. That six seconds included the scanning of each page, transmission of the pages to my Mac via WiFi, the removal of the blank pages and the saving of the file to the Mac file system on the SSD. I would not call this a "production scanner" for an office full of people, but for home use it is pretty nice so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You might want to define what "SLMPDF" is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can indeed skip blank pages, you can toggle this on or off in the settings menu, I tested this and it worked fine. as far as speed it takes about 2 seconds to duplex scan an 8.5 by 11 page
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you're scanning a set of single-sided documents you could always tell it to scan single-sided when you start the scan. If if you need to scan both single-sided and double-sided documents into the same PDF file you should start it as double-sided scanning. There's a free program on the internet that you could use to delete the blank pages from a PDF file. It's called pdfsam.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does have an option to autodetect blank pages and not put include them but I haven't tested it thoroughly. I did notice it did often work when set to AUTO DETECT but if there were any significant markings on the blank sheet it did include the page in the final PDF.
