The drum is what holds the toner cartridge in the printer. It's the black thing that the cartridge sets in. You will need to pull each one out, then remove the toner cartridge and install it into a new drum. Each color needs one. After doing so you will need to reset the drum life counter on the machine. The link below will help you step by step. http://support.brother.com/g/b/faqend.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=mfc9130cw_us&faqid=faq00000154_057
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the drum kit is required after the Brother MFC 9130CW reaches a specified usage limit. The drum is the part that holds you printer toner cartridge. AFTER replacing the drums (there are 4), you must reset the machine part counters (also 4). This kit comes with the replacement and reset instructions enclosed in the box. Your owner's manual that came with the printer also gives instructions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. that picture explains it. The toner cartridge sits in the drum. I just replaced all four drums in my printer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the carriage that holds the toner cartridge. Grab front center of existing carriage to be replaced and remove by pulling forward. Shake toner cartridge vigorously side to side before placing into new carriage. Slide green tab on carriage back and forth several times. (be sure to line up green tab arrows on left side) Place new carriage into printer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the unit to replace if it is asking to replace the drum. The drum unit transfers toner to the paper.
