Toner and Drum replaced separately. This way you don't waste toner when drum gives out. I purchased toner at the same time, but will not install the toner until machine runs out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The printer needs both drum and toner to print. The drum essentially a cradle where the toner sit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not have an answer. I have a Brother printer but it has a toner cartridge AND a drum. We are almost at the point where we need to replace the drum, which we have purchased and is waiting in the box. Printing is becoming light on the left edge, but we are waiting to replace the drum until we are notified with a message on our computer (as the printer does when we need to replace the toner cartridge. So far we have been pleased with our Brother printer - especially the economy, since we are volunteers for 2 organizations and so a lot of printing. Otherwise I do not feel that I can answer your question.
