Just bought this -- the HL-5370DW was by far easier to set up because I used Ethernet cable to connect to the router and other devices many years ago. The wi-fi password was difficult to type in, you had to go one character at a time with the down or up keys. Wasn't obvious at first, but livechat made it easier. Our HL-5370 was due for a drum replacement and toner replacement and looking at the price of both was close in price to this L2370DW, and the toner cartridges seemed to cost less, so we went for it. Plus we'd had the HL-5370DW for about maybe 10 years, and it had been curling the paper for some time and starting to get very heated...time to replace it! Now we've only had the L2370DW operating less than a week and a little corner is being torn on the paper for the past few sheets, which I never saw with the 5370DW....I have to figure out why it's doing that...not very obvious. Still, I had HP laser and inkjet printers, but will never go back...had to buy the extended warranty because I knew they would break down within a year. Of course that was years ago, and things may have improved, but I have not gone back since,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can’t give an honest comparison between the two. I can say that the HL-2370W is amazing if you have a need for efficient black and white printing. I don’t print often, that is why I went with this printer since toner won’t dry out like inkjet cartridges do. Hope this helps.
