I’ve had a few different models of Brother laser printers including this one. All of them had issues with WiFi printing. When they go into deep sleep mode they are essentially dead and disconnected from the network. The only thing that wakes them up is cycling the power button which kinda defeats the purpose of WiFi printing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the previous model: HL-L2350DW, for years it worked faultlessly on both ethernet and wifi. Now it will NOT come out of 'DEEP SLEEP', even after Brother's setting routine to turn off deep sleep had "ACCEPTED" turning it off. I try recycling the printer by opening/closing the cartridge door. That may or way not last long enough for me to resend the print request. Too bad, because I would buy its new 'BROTHER', except ??
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You go thru steps to 'find' your local network thru Brother software, and then go into settings and add the printer to each computer from which you want to print. We use this function all the time, and it's great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This printer is capable of setup for either website or wireless printing and does well in either setup.
