No, the Brother HL-L8360CDW can not make copies.

Only if you have a separate scanner, which I highly recommend. Otherwise, no. There is no built-in scanner. I DO NOT recommend multifunction machines that scan and print. If one component goes out, the whole thing is trash. Also, you can buy a much better scanner than the ones included in multifunction machines. Such scanners, especially Epson, have a button for copying that automatically sends the scan to any connected printer. Below is a link to an excellent scanner that will last you a long time and provide impressive scans of documents, photos, slides, and film. Coupled with the Brother printer, you'll be very happy, indeed.
