How good is this for photo scanning. what is the dpi null

The Brother ADS-2800W photo scanning dpi is up to 600 x 600.

Resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi. I do not use it for scanning photos. I use it for making copies of presentations which have detailed figures (pictures) on paper. It does fine with those at high speed. For making copies of photographs, I am told that flat screens are better. However, they are much, much slower. With the Brother 2800W I can copy an entire presentation of 60 pages in about 60 seconds.
