A:Answer Yes, it does DUPLEX PRINT AUTOMATICALLY. It prints the first page, then pulls paper back in and prints back page.
The pages come out double-sided and collated (proper order) face-down after duplex prints.
The scanner is SINGLE-SIDE, and the ADF (Automatic document feeder) will pull in loose sheets for scanning into a single PDF file.
One could also scan using the glass flatbed (placing one page at a time on scanner flatbed glass), and will chose this option if there is no paper in the top ADF slot.
The touch-panel prompts if you wish to scan the next page, or have finished the last page (and then will send out the completed PDF file.
The nice thing is, you don't have to use a PC to scan and then upload to the Cloud file server (such as google drive or dropbox or Microsoft OneDrive). It will name the file by date and 24-hour time scanned (eg. file "201812061501_001.pdf" for a file created on Dec 06, 2018 at 03:01 PM)
Hope this info helps. I'm very pleased by this product. The lack of duplex ADF scanning has not been as big as an issue for me (though I have access to a duplex scanner at our small business, I find we rarely use that feature).
