Yes. Get a laser printer that only prints in Black. You get way more pages than with an ink jet printer, regardless of what they claim. Brother is the only laser printer I have owned in a long while but sure there are others.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know of a printer that just uses black ink. However, I've had two brother inkjet printers and when the black runs out, you just have to replace the black. I actually put the printer settings on print in black and greyscale only, so I only have to replace the black ink. At some point, you'll have to replace the colors, but it's not very often. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Both of my Brother printer models allow you to replace only the cartridges that are out of ink, one at a time -- you don't have to replace all 4 when one runs out. I bought them expressly for this purpose because I also use up a lot more black than color ink when printing. So if you only print in black, that's a great option -- although I suspect that eventually you may have to replace the three color ink cartridges, when and if they dry up. So far I have not had that issue with this type of cartridge (unlike the old blocky HP style that dried out quickly.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer is no. The sale of evaporative ink far exceeds the price of the printer, and there is a code of the criminal manufacturers. If one tried to sell a black ink only printer his family would have an unfortunate accident.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.U can buy just black ink for the brother's printer. They have the bundles with both and the black / color separate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most up to date brother printers have the option to purchase the black ink seperately. Any new all in one model will do!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought an HP Photosmart Plus B210 Series for this same reason. This printer has an individual black cartridge, and one yellow, one cyan and one magenta.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try a brother printer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your only monochrome option may be a Laser printer. I do not believe that I have ever seen a Black ink-only, InkJet printer. Typically, printer manufacturers are in the printer and ink business, to make revenue.
