The LC201 Series ink has a 260 page yield and the LC203 Series has a 500+ page yield.

Same ink, 203 XL yields more prints. I stick with 201 being a personal computer. If I were need more prints for a business or being a teacher, I would get the 203XL

The toners are the same but XL is high yiled..So the more you print , the better off you may be buying this

I've only bought the LC201. But I have seen where people list that both will work on same printers. I have the Brothers printer MFC-J885 DW

No, the LC201 is not the same as the 203C printer cartridges.
