“Brothers LC71 3Pack says it good for 300 pages but does that mean 300 pages per color cartridge or total of all 3 cartridges?”

But I have never be able to print more than 50 pages.I normally use black and white print. even I don't use color printing, my color cartridges get emptied for printer cleaning. I think that problem is with the brother printer. Thinking of buying a different one.
