QuestionI print items on and off, so not on the regular basis. Will this be an issue as far as the ink drying up? Can I go a month without printing? Or will I need to print something every week, every two weeks, or monthly?

- Answer you can go long periods without printing you just have to keep the printer on so it will self-clean and keep itself ready

- Answer This thing is big. give yourself at least 2 feet min for the area you place it in... that should allow the use of the rear tray with no issue

QuestionSince you cannot print labels with this printer, will it print mailing lists on envelopes? And how many envelopes at a time? What about printing on card stock?

- Answer The Brother MFCJ5855DW does support envelope printing. The machine can load up to 10 envelopes from the standard paper tray and up to 20 from the manual feed slot. The machine can support cardstock paper of up to 58 lbs. Cardstock paper above 58 lbs is not supported by the machine.
