Press the right arrow > button which is next to the ok button to take you to line 2, then press the BS (backspace) key and it removes line 2 and you're back to 1 line. If you want to add the second line back, just press enter and you have 2 lines again.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Is it possible that something got pressed when the printer was inverted to change the tape? To do a double line, simply use the "enter" key. Previous model had a function code that delineated the line. Maybe you are getting a 2nd line because the label length is too short for what you are inputting. Best way I found to learn about the software is to play around with it to explore the options. This particular model requires you to "ok" settings and changes for them to take effect. Hope this helps. My previous model lasted 23 yrs. I hope this one lasts as long.
