“Is this toner cartridge now a substitute for Brother TN-310 Yellow toner cartridge?”

• No. I do not believe that it will work. After looking to see what the TN-310 toner cartridge looks like compare to what the TN-223 looks like, it is different. The 310 is square looking compared to the 223 and it will not fit in the drum.

• The Brother TN-223Y toner cartridges are not a substitute for the TN-310 cartridges. If your printer uses the TN-310 toner cartridges, then it would not be compatible with the TN-223Y cartridges as these cartridges are for a different series of printers.
