“Will this work with Brother HL-2280DW Laser printer? I have the Brother HL-2280DW laser printer (purchased from Best Buy) and can't seem to find any toner cartridges here that say they work on my printer. This model (TN-450) as well as the standard capacity (TN-420) toner cartridge both say: "Compatible with select Brother laser printers Including DCP7060D, DCP7065DN, HL2220, HL2230, HL2240, HL2240D, HL2270DW, MFC7360N, MFC7460DN and MFC7860DW models."”

• I am using the Tn-450 toner in the same printer and it works just fine. I don't know if they just left this model off the compatibility list or what, but the TN-450 is the correct toner cartridge.

• Yes, the Brother HL-2280DW laser printer is the model I have. Perhaps the box you have seen is an older design box and does not reflect newer models built since the old box label was printed. My box does include the Brother HL-2280DW laser printer on the list of compatible models.

• Yes, I have used both in my HL-2280DW... The product description is Compatible Products: DCP-7060D, DCP-7065DN, HL-2220, HL-2230, HL-2240, HL-2240D, HL-2270DW, HL-2280DW, MFC-7360N, MFC-7460DN, MFC-7860DW. My guess is that is an older description prior to the release of the HL-2280DW.
