I am hoping since the question was asked and me responding so late what you got was the toner cartridge. The part you ordered (Image drum) and what you received was the toner cartridge. The DR730 is the image drum the part TN730 is the toner cartridge. Hopefully this helps more than your self

Please try again later.Your Printer comes with a Brother DR730 and a Brother TN starter cartridge, when the machine tells you to replace the toner cartridge, needs to be replaced by a Brother TN730 or TN760, to install it you will need to remove both parts together from the machine and remove the toner from the drum(DR730), then install the new toner first in the DR730 after that you can install both parts in the machine.
