If your vehicle has a cigarette lighter and radio it should work. I have an older truck and it works fine. The device plugs into the cigarette lighter. It plays through your radio via some sort of transmitter that is in the device. You can attach to it via Bluetooth or via the audio cable is included with it. Yes this will work in a GMC Sierra. I have a 1999 Cadillac Seville and it’s perfect for my vehicle. I chose to use the station 88.1 and I have no issues. I’d say to disconnect it when getting out of your vehicle as when turning your car on/off your Bluetooth will stay connected as long as this is powered on. And the built in charger is amazing!!! I hope this helps you out and I hope you enjoy this product as much as I do. It’s saved me a lot of money as I didn’t want to replace the original radio.
