QuestionIs there a switch to turn off the convection in the bottom to use it as a conventional oven?

- Answer Hi KB, thanks for reaching out! Yes, you can bake traditionally or using the convection fan for this model. To bake traditionally, you would simply press the BAKE pad, set your temperature, and then press start. To use the convection bake feature, you would press the CONV BAKE pad, set your temperature, and then press start. We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael

QuestionFor the smaller oven how long does it take to preheat? I'm looking for a new range and I'm thinking this could also replace my toaster oven, which would give me some counter space back.

Actual preheat times will vary based on a number of factors such as the set temperature, room temperature, and starting temperature of the oven cavity to name just a few. That said, the upper oven offers a preheat time of approximately 10-12 minutes. Many consumers find they do most of their cooking in the upper oven and primarily use the lower oven for larger food items. QuestionWhat color handles comes with matte white electric range?

- Answer Hello- Thank you for your question. This unit will come with the Brushed Bronze handles which is standard on Matte White finish. - Answer Hello - that’s a great question! Each appliance has a rating plate that provides the model and serial number as well as specific electrical data pertaining to the appliance. Some newer appliance model/serial tags have QR codes that can be scanned with your phone to take you directly to information pertaining to your specific product. For Café Slide-In Ranges, there are two possible locations for the rating plate: 1. On the bottom of the control panel, visible from below when the oven door is open 2. Behind the door, on the front frame (Double-Oven Ranges: Behind the door on the LOWER oven, on the front frame) -- For a visual to help locate these on your range, search for the Page titled “Appliance Model and Serial Number Finder” on our Café Appliances website. - Answer Thank you for checking with us! The burners on this amazing unit offer quite a bit of flexibility for pan sizes. The largest burner is 12”, but this tri-ring burner can actually be used as a 12”/9”/6” burner. There's also another dual ring burner that's an 8"/5" burner.

- Answer For help with preventing scratches on this range, please review the section titled: "Metal Marks and Scratches" on pg. 24 of the Owner's Manual. To ensure you're properly cleaning your unit, we recommend following instructions in the "Cleaning the Range" section on pages 21-24. To make sure you're using the correct cookware, please take a moment to review the section titled: "Cookware Guidelines" on pg. 17.

A range hood is optional for this model, because there is already a downdraft on the cooktop. We also found that there is also not a specific hood for this range. The default color for the Matte White finish is the Brushed Bronze, but Cafe allows you the choice of choosing a different color finish for the handles and knobs. - Answer Hello ShopperBee - Thank you for your question; we are glad to assist. The slots at the rear of the cooktop are for venting with the oven. If you are asking about steam, then you may want to invest in an over the range microwave or vent hood to help with water getting on the backsplash. Since this model has a radiant glass cooktop, there shouldn't be a ton of heat rising from the burners, unlike a gas cooktop.
