Hi! Thanks for reaching out. Café appliance's handles and knobs are made of anodized aluminum tube and e-coat zinc die cast material. They are tested for chemical resistance for any discoloration, abrasion resistance, and corrosion resistance. Hope this is helpful! All the best. -Michael@Cafe
